English: Pumayyaton and Pnytarion's inscriptions are two separated inscriptions, Phoenician and Greek, with a gap of about 3 centuries years between them, engraved on the same marble base which was found near Kition. the inscriptions have no connection and are not a bilingual inscription. The Phoenician inscription dedicates a statue in 328 BC, during the reign of king Pumayyaton over Kition and Idalion. The Greek inscription honors a statue to Pnytarion, a woman from a powerful family, in the sanctuary of Aesculapius and Hygieia. It is now exhibited in Larnaca District Archaeological Museum.
