Summary

Description Leeds School of Medicine, Thoresby Place, Leeds, West Yorkshire, England. It was designed by William Henry Thorp (born 1852), founded in 1890, and completed in 1894. All the original stone carving on the exterior, and the original wood carving inside, was executed by John Wormald Appleyard (1831-1894). Showing faux gargoyle, in dragon form, on tower above main entrance.
