English: Model bacterium with a spheroidal cell body and a helical flagellum
The cell body is a rigid spheroid with semiaxes ๐‘,๐‘Ž,๐‘Ž, and the flagellum is a simple circular rigid helix with pitch ๐œ†, amplitude ๐‘ and length ๐ฟ. The axis of the helix is set to be the swimmerโ€™s director vector, ๐‘’ฬ‚1=๐‘‘.
