Koenigsmark, with French intertitles. This digital transfer was made in 2018. It comes from a 2003 film restoration by La Cinémathèque française, based on a nitrate negative without intertitles, an incomplete tinted nitrate copy without intertitles held by La Cinémathèque française, and an incomplete tinted nitrate copy with intertitles held by La Cinémathèque de Toulouse. The restoration combined elements from these materials to create a complete copy of the film, with the edit and intertitles based on documents preserved at the Bibliothèque nationale de France. |
