View northward towards Boston, on an eight-mile stretch of the A16 built 1994 on the course of the former ex-GNR Loop Line (Peterborough - Spalding - Boston - Lincoln) which was closed as a through railway on 5/10/70! Kirton station had been over on the right, where the remains of the goods shed is visible, closed to passengers from 11/9/61, to goods from 15/6/64. Note the warning.
