Object history

Die obere Schildhälfte verweist auf die ehemalige Zugehörigkeit zur Wild- und Rheingrafschaft und zeigt das Gerichtssiegel des Wild- und Rheingräflichen Hochgerichts Rhaunen.

Die untere Schildhälfte nimmt mit den Ähren zur Landwirtschaftlichen Struktur der Gemeinde Bezug. Die Korndarre ist ein ehemaliger archäologischer Fund im Land der Treverer aus einer ehemaligen römischen Villa in der Gemeinde Weitersbach. Der Fund befindet sich im Landesmuseum Trier.
