Deutsch: Teile des Ringspeichers HERA (Hadron-Elektron-Ring-Anlage) bei DESY (Deutsches Elektronen-Synchrotron) in Hamburg, Deutschland. Vorn ist ein supraleitender Quadrupolmagnet (silber), der den Teilchen-(Protonen-)strahl bündelt und dahinter (weiß) ist ein ebenfalls supraleitender Dipolmagnet, der die Protonen auf die Kreisbahn lenkt. Die Magnete werden mit flüssigem Helium gekühlt und bei einer Temperatur von 4 Kelvin (-269 °C) betrieben. Der Betrieb von HERA begann ca. 1990 und endete am 30.6.2007.
