English: Coker Court and St Michael's Church East Coker, near to East Coker, Somerset, Great Britain.
Coker Court was bought by Archdeacon Helyar in 1616 and remained in the hands of the same family until the middle of the last century. There have been many alterations - the east front visible was designed in the 18th Century by Sir William Chambers who also was the architect of Somerset House and the Pagoda in Kew Gardens. |
