Summary
Plaques installed near the field and running track on the former site of Aviation High School, east of Aviation Boulevard in Redondo Beach, California. One commemorates the November 13, 2006 "Grand Opening" as "Aviation Field" while another commemorates the November 20, 2008 "Grand Reopening" of "Aviation Park". The latter notes the field's original namesake in honor of the school's first principal, Mr. H. C. Uhls.
