Summary

Description A U.S. Navy North American AJ Savage of Composite Squadron VC-6 Fleurs launching from the aircraft carrier USS Midway (CVA-41). Note "Dai Jobi!" painted on the left side of fuselage under cockpit. In the background are two Grumman F9F-6 Cougar fighters from Fighter Squadron VF-174 Hell Razors. The Midway was on a world cruise with Carrier Air Group 1 (CVG-1) from 27 December 1954 to 14 July 1955 before her first major conversion.
