User:Iseriously, User:DjSolar27, User:JavaHurricane, User:Eumat114 - This draft is at a different level of detail than our existing articles on tropical cyclones. We currently have an article on the tropical cyclone season in each of the seven basins, and an article on each significant tropical storm by name, and an overall historical article covering multiple centuries. This draft is about the year, combining the seven basins. Has a decision been made to document tropical storms at this level of detail, by year, in addition to by year and basin, and by storm? If so, where is this decision documented? If not, why is this draft being submitted now? Robert McClenon (talk) 17:45, 4 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Robert McClenon, we in the WPTC do have some articles on global activity (see 1, 2 and 3 for example. I do agree that this list needs lots of expansion and cleanup before getting into articlespace. Pinging Hurricanehink, Hurricane Noah and Juliancolton if they are interested in expanding the list. JavaHurricane 07:34, 5 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]
I dont know if we have any set decision down somewhere, but the deletion of Tropical cyclones in 2018 in 2018 was unsuccessful and we now have Tropical cyclones in 2019 and 2020. Tropical cyclones by year was also created. As for this draft, it is far from being ready and needs more development before moving to the mainspace. There are zero references right now. I'm with Noah, there needs to be more here before it's published. ♫ Hurricanehink (talk) 13:36, 5 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]
