- This page is not an advertisement at all. Just to inform the research community about the outcome of works of Dr Roohi. ZahraHeidari2 (talk) 15:40, 1 December 2023 (UTC)

Photographs of Roohi standing next to people
[edit]@ZahraHeidari2: I don't think this article needs five photographs of what it looks like when Roohi stands next to somebody or sits in a restaurant with them. One photo to show him at an earlier stage of his career, perhaps, but not five.
If Roohi has worked with other engineers it's enough to say this in the text. If he has just met them at conferences, this doesn't seem worth mentioning in a biography. Belbury (talk) 15:48, 3 December 2023 (UTC)
- I think it is important to show his connection and relation with big researchers. It is not just sitting and standing with them. Roohi had worked with Stefanov and Bird, he has many papers with Stefanov, see the reference list at the end of the article. He had worked with all the people that was shown in the photos and have presentations based on his common works.
- I think it is important to keep these photos, it helps the others to also know this giant researchers and prepare separate pages for them as well. ZahraHeidari2 (talk) 23:54, 3 December 2023 (UTC)
- If he's worked with them, this information should go in the text with sources. Bird, Moin, Aoki and Hornung are not mentioned in the current article text.
- The photos are useful for including other engineers and should be kept on Commons, but I don't think they should all go in this article. As you claim on your talk page, they're just Roohi's social media Instagram photos from conferences. They're not adding new information about him, and excessive images are against WP:GALLERY - these ones are overlapping the references section. Belbury (talk) 10:56, 4 December 2023 (UTC)
- I do not agree with this. Let me time and I prepare the required text for Roohi's cooperation with these giants. He was supervised with them and I believe it is important to keep these figures. ZahraHeidari2 (talk) 13:05, 4 December 2023 (UTC)
top 1% scientist?
[edit]Article says "He is among the 1% of highly cited researchers in ESI since 2021." It comes with a citation and there is something in there. But I can't tell how credible the source is, or what exactly it supports. It seems to be making a similar claim. Would like opinion from people familiar with academia. - I'd guess it was something like his h-index, which in terms of notability WP:PROF says
should be approached with caution because their validity is not, at present, completely accepted, and they may depend substantially on the citation database used. They are also discipline-dependent; some disciplines have higher average citation rates than others.
Belbury (talk) 16:42, 4 December 2023 (UTC)- H-index of 35 is, I assume, good in certain fields. Whether fluid dynamics or whatever he does is one of those fields, is a pertinent question. Usedtobecool ☎️ 17:08, 4 December 2023 (UTC)
