Clueless idiots
[edit]THERE IS NO BATTERY SINGLE!!! Not even a promo only. Just a Russian bootleg flexi like for 50 other Metallica songs, which seriously cannot be counted. It seriously boggles my mind which troll would ever be stupid enough to create this and similar pages. Fuck this is stupid

Fair use rationale for Image:Metallica - Master of Puppets.jpg
[edit]Image:Metallica - Master of Puppets.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If there is other other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 22:08, 5 June 2007 (UTC)
Why not a Singles Page??
[edit]If Battery is listed in the template as a single, why is this article not a single article? Somebody should seriously fix this. --J miester25 (talk) 14:54, 21 May 2009 (UTC)
"Minimalist?"
[edit]What does the article mean when it says the song cuts into a "very fast minimalist thrash metal riff." What exactly does it mean by minimalist? —Preceding unsigned comment added by Jedibob5 (talk • contribs) 01:16, 3 July 2009 (UTC)
Song's Meaning
[edit]I would suggest the song's meaning has more to do with WWI battle and its insanity, which seems to be the theme of the whole album anyway. A Battery, in this milieu, is a unit of guns, mortars, etc.. Read the lyrics in this context and you'll agree.--137.186.244.152 (talk) 18:01, 1 October 2009 (UTC)
Will the real MOP single please stand up....
[edit]The only legit single off MOP is the limited French 7" single of "Master of Puppets" released on Music For Nations/New Electric Way. The only legit promo off MOP is the US 12" of "Master of Puppets" released on Elektra. There are 2 variants of that promo, the difference being the matrix number ending in either SP or AR. That's it! Stop adding bootlegs! Signed: The Collector P.S.: http://www.syphilic.com/metallica/disc/ <- Use this.
