Gustav Carl Heinrich Lucas von Oertzen (January 23rd, 1836-October 22nd, 1911) was a German colonial official and imperial commissioner of German New Guinea. He served as the first imperial commissioner of German New Guinea from 1884 to 1887. In New Guinea, the Oertzen Mountains (Tajomanna) and the Oertzen Island (Paeowa Island) were named after him.
