Batesville Products, Inc. (BPI) is a privately-held manufacturer of custom aluminum and zinc casting. Founded in 1946 as Batesville Ornamental Works by Millard Laugle and his sons in Batesville, Indiana, the company initially focused on producing decorative castings. [1] [2] [3] [4]

In 1956, Batesville Ornamental Works incorporated and began expanding its operations and clientele beyond the decorative industry, leading to a change in name to Batesville Products, Inc. [3] In the 1960's, the company relocated to Lawrenceburg, Indiana and was acquired by Justin Weber.[5] [2] In 1989, Justin Weber passed the company to his son, Rick Weber. In 2015, leadership of Batesville Products, Inc. transitioned to Len Weber, younger brother of Rick Weber, who currently serves as the company's president. [6] [4]

Today, Batesville Products, Inc. maintains two locations: its headquarters in Lawrenceburg, Indiana, and a facility in Aurora, Indiana. [4] The Lawrenceburg facility houses CNC machining, polishing, inspection, shipping, and administrative functions, while aluminum and zinc permanent mold casting, engineering, and polishing are conducted at the Aurora location.
