Thikana Barothi

Barothi Thikana, This place was a Chowki under Jawas. The Rajput chieftains here, along with their Bhil companions, had made the British chew their noses and gram. The British government always used to collect taxes on the Indian people. This place coming under the Bhomat area was with Chauhan Jagirdar. Most of the Bhil community people also resided in this area. During the British period, the Dak-Bungalow of Barothi hideout-where the Britishers used to have a post. All the places coming under Bhomat from the princely state of Mewar were convenient places. Densely forested area Bhomat is divided into three sub-regions. The first was Bhadar, the second was Wakal and the third was Khadak. Barothi place used to come under Khadak sub-region. Jagirdar Jodhsingh Chauhan, who settled this place, was related to Dak-Bungalow Chowki and fought shoulder to shoulder with the drawn chieftain of Jawas place in front of the British. Jagirdar Jodh Singh along with his Bhil comrades always fought against the British rule. In the 1880s, Khemsingh Chauhan, a descendant of Jagirdar Jodhsingh, along with his Bhil comrades, also made the British chew their noses and gram against the British rule. Barothi place was in the form of a small outpost. And here was the place of Rajput chieftains.Jagirdar Jodhsingh was mainly a descendant of the Chauhan rulers of Ajmer, he settled in Bhomat due to family conflict and laid the foundation of Barothi under the Jawas place under Mewar State. Then it was first come first served there. People of other Bhil community also lived nearby. He was one of the special chieftains of Bhomat. The most powerful vassals of this place came under Bhomat. It is said that when his girlfriend was getting married to another Jagirdar, then the Jagirdar Jodh Singh and his companions chased and killed the whole procession by taking them captive. That place was called Baratmari Valley. Everything changed slowly with the passage of time.
