ThankGod Emmanuel Ofem (/ ofɛm/ born September 20, 2003) is a Nigerian business magnate, computer programmer, internet entrepreneur, and philanthropist. He founded Drauig of which he is director, executive chairman, chief executive officer and Controlling interest/controlling shareholder. He officially started Drauig in May, 2020, but registered in 2024.

Early life and education

Childhood and family

ThankGod was born in Ugep, Cross River State, Nigeria, on 20 September, 2003, to Philomina and Emmanuel Elijah Ofem, originally from Ugep, Yakurr Local Government Area of Cross River State.  

Education

ThankGod attended National Open University of Nigeria, where he launched Drauig in October 2024. Drauig is planning to take the company public in December 2025 with majority shares. He is now one of the Nigerian's youngest self-made millionaire. He is planning to use his funds to organize multiple donations, including the establishment of a security company, Drauig Intelligence Agency, a sub-company of Drauig.

Career

Early career

ThankGod worked in the Nigerian Software Company VIS Nigeria as a software developer in Abuja on contract basis in 2023. Then he subsequently joined Oluwatobim Business Centre in late 2023 as a computer operator, where he tried to get potential collaborations with the Ministry of Interior, Abuja.

ProjectProfessional Limited

Before going to Abuja, Federal Capital Territory in 2023, ThankGod worked with Project Professional Limited as a Project Manager II/Web Developer where he was part of a major development for a Polytechnic in Afikpo, Federal Polytechnic of Unwana, Afikpo, this involved the Head of ICT of Federal Polytechnic, Unwana and other Senior developers from Project Professional Limited which was the development and deployment of a School Training Management System. He also was part of the development of a Payment Gateway for CSMT Schools, Abakaliki. He later left the company due to redundancy.

It was reported that the Managing Director, Mr. Hyacinth A. Aleke, FIMC told him that; The company wouldn't be able to pay him anymore due to the economic situation, but he won't be removed from the position and wouldn't be paid. On this note, ThankGod Emmanuel decided to resign his duty, to which he later relocated to Abuja.

Vis Nigeria

ThankGod briefly worked in Vis Nigeria as a software developer where he developed a website for Oakmarks Assessment and Alpha Kapital Microfinance Bank in 2024. Vis Nigeria stood as one of the best web design agency in Abuja, Nigeria with a global ranking of 4.9 on Google and 4.0 on clutch.

Drauig

In 2024, he registered Drauig, a software company poised to make a significant impact in the technology sector. ThankGod is also planning to establish Drauig Intelligence Agency in 2025, an Africa-based intelligence/security company. Drauig Intelligence Agency will maintain a portfolio of investments across several sectors which includes border and national security. Drauig is planning to launch a major flagship product, Aesthetics. Aesthetics will be a next-generation social media platform that blends the best features of Instagram and Twitter with advanced business tools, monetization capabilities, and comprehensive analytics.

Through continuous innovation, we aim to become a transformative force in the digital landscape, offering scalable, secure, and impactful solutions that enhance productivity, engagement, and business growth.
