Rakhin Magamadov (born 29 October 2003) is a French freestyle wrestler of Chechen ethnicity who competes at 86 kilograms. A two-time U20 World champion, Magamadov has won multiple World and European medals across the U23, U20 and U17 age-groups.[1]

Background[edit]

Magamadov was born in Gudermes, Chechnya, and immigrated to France with his family at the age of four, due to the Second Chechen War. Despite wanting to play football, Magamadov started wrestling at the age of six to follow his father's wishes.
