Raffaello Follieri is an Italian-born American entrepreneur, real estate developer, and financier. He is the founder and CEO of Follieri Energy Group, a green energy company. Follieri is also the founder of Pasele Ltd., a rare metals company.[1]
Biography[edit]
Follieri was born and raised in Italy and graduated from the University of Roma La Sapienza.[2]
Follieri began his career in the investment banking industry, specializing in finance.
In 2002, he co-founded the Follieri Group, focusing on real estate investment funds in the United States.
In 2023, Follieri established PASELE LtD., a Turkey and U.K. based rare metals company. Under his leadership, Pasele Ltd. has become a significant player in the global rare earth market, controlling approximately eight percent of the market share and managing products valued at around 30 billion euros.
Follieri's adept handling of geopolitical events, such as the Ukrainian war and subsequent Russian trader embargo, has earned him recognition as the 'king of rare earths.'
Additionally, in 2012, Follieri established the Follieri Energy Group, where he serves as CEO. The company promotes renewable energy sources and manages a portfolio of petrol stations and storage facilities with a market capitalization of 250 Billion euro.[3]
Follieri sold BLS SA for 3.7 BI euro.
