Nnamani Music Group is a Nigerian independent record label established in 2023. It is based in Lagos and it was founded by Johnel. The label is distributed through ONE Revolution People's Music.[1][2]
History[edit]
Nnamani Music Group was founded in 2023, launched in 2024 and is run by a brother and sister team Johnel and Nnamani Grace Odi. The label's catalog includes various genres such as hip hop, R&B, afrobeats and pop music.[3] It was initially designed as a platform to support independent artists and rights holders globally. All rights of the works are retained by the artists themselves.[4] In addition to the catalogued releases, Nnamani Music Group has assisted artists with digital music promotions and other released projects.[5][1][6] Several albums from different artists have been released under NMG including Johnel's "Galactic Theme".[2][7][8] The Lagos Review described the label as "A new era of opportunities for indie musicians and labels."[3]
