Nicole Sahin is an American entrepreneur, philanthropist and author. She is the CEO and founder of G-P (Globalization Partners),[1] a global employer of record (EOR) platform,[2] and the author of Global Talent Unleashed, a guide to building global remote teams.[3]

Early life and education[edit]

Raised in St. Louis, Missouri, Sahin intended to become an anthropologist after studying humanities and environmental studies. After travelling to countries including Columbia and the Phillipines, she decided to instead pursue a career in international business.[4]

In 2003, Sahin moved to California to secure an MBA in International Management at Middlebury Institute of International Studies at Monterey.[5] She later relocated to Boston where she founded G-P.[6][7]

Career[edit]

Early career[edit]

In 2005, Sahin joined the newly founded High Street Partners (HSP), an international business services firm which facilitated the international expansion of clients including Tesla Motors and Duke University by helping them understand the regulations involved with establishing a presence overseas.[8][9] In 2014, HSP merged with Nair & Co in 2014 to form Radius Worldwide,[10] which was then acquired by Vistra International Expansion in 2018.[11] During her six-year tenure at High Street Partners, Sahin held various positions including managing director.[12]

Globalization Partners (G-P)[edit]

In 2011, Sahin left High Street Partners to focus on developing the Employer of Record (EOR) business model to enable companies to expand internationally without having to establish an overseas presence.[7][13] In 2012, she founded Globalization Partners (G-P), the world's first SaaS-based EOR platform.[14][15] As of May 2024, G-P has established companies in more than 180 countries to facilitate global hiring on behalf of its customers.[16]

Other endeavors[edit]

In June 2023, Sahin and G-P co-founded the EOR industry watchdog, The Global Employment Innovation Organization (GEIO).[17]

Sahin is an executive co-producer of the documentary Of Night and Light which premiered at the Tribeca Film Festival in 2023.[18] The long-format documentary relates ibogaine’s history in North America as a successful but under-recognized one-off treatment for severe depression, PTSD, and drug and alcohol addiction.[18]
