Nico Leonard Willem van Straten was a commander of the Dutch occupying forces that occupied the Portuguese territories of Macau and East-Timor between 17 December 1941 and 1942, and governing simultaneously with William Watt Leggatt who was the commander of the Australian occupying forces.
