Oluwa Damilola Adedolapo Aminu (born June 15, 1994), popularly known as Minz, is a Nigerian Afrobeats singer, songwriter and record producer [1]
Early Life And Education[edit]
Oluwa Damilola Adedolapo Aminu[2] known professionally as Minz grew up in a small town in Lagos, Nigeria called Surulere [3] where he attended his primary and secondary school in Lagos and he studied at Babcock University in Ogun state where he studied International Law and Diplomacy.[4][3][5]

2016 Aunty Patricia and other releases
Oluwa Damilola Adedolapo Aminu popularly known as Minz was born in Lagos, Nigeria.[2] Damilola started as a record producer before embarking fully as a recording artist, he Released his first song and video in July 2016, called "Aunty Patricia" which was shot by TG omori[6] [7][8]
Minz was introduced to the music industry after receiving Email from Mr Eazi's management for collaboration agreement with Minz[5] and he was later signed by Mr Eazi under his record label called Empawa Africa [9]
After releasing "Wo Wo" in 2022, Minz teamed up with Empawa Africa to release the remix of "Wo Wo" featuring Bnxn and Blaqbonez in January 18, 2023.[10] Wo Wo was also listed as best song released in 2023 by OkayAfrica and Pulse[11]
Minz's song "Wo Wo" debuted at number 16 on UK Afrobeats Singles Chart Top 100 charts, the song currently ranks above Seyi Vibez’s “Chance (Na Ham)” and the viral song by Libianca titled “People.”[12]
In May 17, 2024 MINZ joined forces with one of the greatest Afrobeats Artiste DAVIDO to release a captivating new R&B single titled “WAP.”[13][14]
