The LNER 4-8-2 "Mountain" Type Locomotives were a series of proposed 4-8-2 "Mountain" type steam locomotives that was designed by Sir Nigel Gresley.[1]

History[edit]

In February 1946, Sir Nigel Gresley had drew up two drawings of a 4-8-2 "Mountain" type steam locomotive for the London and North Eastern Railway (LNER).[1]
