Kum Junhyeon (Korean: 금준현; born January 15, 2004) is a South Korean singer and member of the South Korean pre-debut group TIOT. He is best known for being a contestant on Mnet's reality competition show Boys Planet.[2]
He is currently under the label Redstart ENM.
Early life
[edit]Kum Junhyeon was born on January 15, 2004, in Suwon, South Korea.
He attended Hanlim Entertainment Arts High School and graduated 2023, at 19 years old.[3]

Career
[edit]2014-2019: Actor
[edit]Kum Junhyeon started his career as a child actor at the age of 10, starring in the 2014 movie 'Welcome' (왓니껴).
2022-present: Boys Planet, TIOT
[edit]Kum Junhyeon was announced a contestant on Boys Planet December, 2022. In the first episode of the show he ranked 31th place, eventually ending up i 14th place at the finals.[5]
On August 23, 2023, Junhyeon had his pre-debut with the boy group TIOT, releasing the pre-debut album, ‘Frame the Blueprint : Prelude to Possibilities‘.
Kum Junhyeon released a solo song on January 9, 2024, ‘WWW‘.
On April 22, 2024, Kum Junhyeon officially debuted as a member of the boy group TIOT with the album 'Kick-START'.
