Kolli Sri Durgaparameshwari-Durgadevi Temple is one of the oldest temples of the Belthangady Taluk in Dakshina Kannada District. The temple is located on the bank of River Nethravathi at a distance of 5 KM from Bangady Aramane(Palace). The Temple is very old and there are no proper refernce and record claiming the date of establishment of Kolli Sri Durgaparameshwari-Durgadevi Temple. But people here believe this temple was constructed thoousands year ago. Having a history of thousand years, the temple was built during the role off popuuar Bangadi Jain Arasu Kingdome and is currently looked after by a trust consisting of the villagers. Kolli Sri Durgaparameshwari_durgadevi Temple carries with it serenity, for it is located in a remote atmosphere, in the absence of hustle bustle of city life. Backside of the temple is covered by huge trees of Western Ghats, while in front is River Nethravathi flowing in tranquility adding more splendour to the place. In the backside of the temple is safely protected Devarakadu covering an area not less than Five acres( belongs to Temple). Devarakadu near temple is also called Bavali Vana.Tulunad
