Hasan Ali Remniku,

Early Life[edit]

He was born in Remnik of Vitia, a village located in the Karadak region, which borders the Upper Morava field.[1][2] Hasan Remniku was brought up according to Albanian tribal law (Kanun) and instilled with the traditions and virtues of true Albanian manhood and courage. Living in an area plagued with frequent chaos, he bore witness from a young age to the injustices and horrors inflicted on his people by the Serbian Military and Chetnik paramilitaries.[2]
