Submission declined on 4 November 2022 by Bonadea (talk). This submission does not appear to be written in the formal tone expected of an encyclopedia article. Entries should be written from a neutral point of view, and should refer to a range of independent, reliable, published sources. Please rewrite your submission in a more encyclopedic format. Please make sure to avoid peacock terms that promote the subject. Declined by Bonadea 2 years ago. |
- Comment: Much of what we have here are press releases (of book launches), interviews with the subject (which are mostly vague and unverifiable), writings by the subject (including news articles by the subject about his own works) and other non-independent sources. Where is the independent coverage of the subject (biographical or otherwise, significant or otherwise) in their own right? Do we have any biographical coverage of the subject's life? (Covering basic facts like DOB, POB, education, etc?) If there is no such coverage, and we are reliant on passing mentions and primary sources to establish the text that we do have, how is SIGCOV/NBIO established? Guliolopez (talk) 14:48, 28 June 2024 (UTC)
- Comment: press releases and interviews are not reliable independent sources. Theroadislong (talk) 15:46, 14 November 2023 (UTC)
- Comment: To establish notability, sources more sources that meet wikipedia's WP:GNG policy are required. Sources need to be independent of the subject and contain significant coverage rather than a trivial mention. ––– GMH MELBOURNE 23:40, 12 October 2023 (UTC)
- Comment: Concerning formatting of references, see the advice in this Help desk thread. bonadea contributions talk 07:38, 4 November 2022 (UTC)
- Comment: Some promotional fluff/peacock wording that has to be fixed, and the text needs to be structured in paragraphs. The references also need work. See WP:CITEREF. In addition please remove all refs that don't serve to verify the information or are not reliable and independent, such as "IMDB". bonadea contributions talk 07:35, 4 November 2022 (UTC)
