Comment: generally, elementary schools are not notable. Although you've provided no sources to show this school would be an exception, due to its age, it might possibly be notable. One thing that is definitely true is that well sourced content about this school would be encyclopedic content at Lovejoy Independent School District. Carrie L. Lovejoy Elementary was a public elementary school in Allen, Texas. It was within Collin County.^[3] It served areas in Allen, Fairview and Lucas. The school was closed in 2021^[2], now, it is used as a preschool and an expansion of the previous administration building. The campus is has been renamed into 'Carrie L. Lovejoy Child Development Center'. ^[4]

History[edit]

In 1917, along with the district itself, Lovejoy School was founded.^[5]

Carrie L. Lovejoy Elementary was closed in 2021 due to financial issues.^[2]
