[edit]Camilla Maxwell has a bachelor of Media in writing from Macquarie University (Sydney, AUS), and is conservatory trained from the American Academy of Dramatic Arts in New York City. She is a published playwright, theatre director and screenplay writer. Camilla is a twice selected participant of the Australians in Film “Untapped” talent career development program. As a journalist Camilla is an author at Buffalo Rising, has written scripts for Network Ten (Australia), theatre reviews for The Brooklyn Daily Eagle, In Brooklyn, The Brooklyn Heights Press and more. Ms. Maxwell was also a content writer, talent director and producer for the Gold Coast based radio station - Juice 1073. Camilla's play's have been performed in India, New Zealand, Dubai, Toronto, Australia and throughout the USA. She is also a screenwriter with a television series and screenplay currently in pre-production.

Personal life
[edit]Born in Sydney, Australia Camilla immigrated to the USA in 2005 to study at the American Academy of Dramatic Arts. After 3 years of training she began working as a resident artist at Mind The Gap Theatre.
Family
[edit]Her sister, Chloe Maxwell is a famous Australian model and television presenter. Chloe is married to the dual international football player Mat Rogers. Who played for Australia. She also has a brother named Brodie Maxwell who is a senior graphic designer and the founder of the company "Moo Car." Camilla's father in an Elvis Impersonator who performs yearly at the Elvis Parkes Festival in Parkes, NSW.
In 2019, Camilla Maxwell's step-father, Ross Mckeand was killed in a head on collision on his motorbike in rural NSW.
