Appello Group consisting of Appello and Careline365 specialises in digital telecare and careline services within the Technology Enabled Care sector..[1]. Established in 1988 with over 650 employees and over 350,000 connected service users in the UK. Its head office is in New Milton with further offices in Chippenham, Norwich, Preston along with employees working remotely across the country. The Chief Executive Officer is James Thorburn.

Appello partner with housing, health and care providers, empowering them to benefit from a digital era of telecare. In 2016 Appello developed the UK’s first fully digital warden call solution for communal living, Smart Living Solutions and then came SmartConnect.

Alongside their warden call systems, SmartLife DUAL was launched in 2021, the first interoperable dispersed alarm in the UK[2]

Appello are accredited members of the TSA, the industry advisory body for Technology Enabled Care in the UK[3]

In 2022 Appello acquired Lifeline24, a national provider of telecare alarms and monitoring servicers[4] who have rebranded as Careline365.
