Adley Kinsman (born November 25, 1988), known professionally as Adley, is an American entertainer, online personality, entrepreneur, and host. Kinsman gained recognition for her comedic and lifestyle content on social media platforms, particularly for her viral videos that garner over 2 billion monthly views. She also participated in the reality singing competition show The Voice as a member of Team Blake.[1][2]
Early Life and Career[edit]
Kinsman, born Adley Geneva Stump in Tulsa, Oklahoma, to Terri and Greg Stump, grew up alongside her brother, Jake Stump.
After graduating from Bishop Kelley High School in 2007, she pursued a degree in Strategic Communication from Oklahoma State University graduating in 2011.
Initially not intending to pursue a career in music, Kinsman found herself on the path to entertainment after a dare from her sorority sisters led her to audition for The Voice.[3][4]
Career[edit]
Kinsman gained initial fame in 2014 during Season Two of NBC's The Voice. Although eliminated during the battle rounds, her appearance made her popular. Kinsman continued her music career, releasing several singles between 2012 and 2019. Notably, her 2016 single "Don't Wanna Love Him" received the Grammy Amplifier Award and garnered attention from The Recording Academy as "One To Watch." She performed at stadium shows and opening for artists like Blake Shelton, Kenny Chesney, and Miranda Lambert.[5][6]
Transitioning her focus to comedy, Kinsman released parody songs such as "Bacon. Eggs.," "Brady Leave," and "Bumble" in 2019.[7][8]
In 2021, she founded Story House, a media company. She also built Story House’s subsidiaries, Viralish U and Viralish X which generate billions of monthly views for brands such as Land Rover, Chairman, HP Inc., 1st Phorm and David's Bridal.[9]
