A lot of compounds that are not alkenes are listed here - like compounds that feature chlorine, oxygen, etc. Albmont (talk) 17:07, 7 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Haloalkenes are still alkenes. As for whether (C=C)-bonded molecules that also have oxygen moieties can still be considered alkenes, or whether they should be solely categorized as acids/alcohols/aldehydes/ketones/whatever... that's another issue entirely.
