Notes[edit]

  1. ^ The Rangers-Vorwärts tie was scheduled to be played at Ibrox Stadium in Glasgow, but was moved to the Malmö Stadion in Malmö, Sweden after the East German club were again refused visas to enter the UK. The original match in Malmö was abandoned due to heavy fog with Rangers leading 1–0, and the match was replayed the following morning.
